Marriages

Gail is organized, public speaker, says wrong things at girls school. She drives a corona and gets fired on her daughter’s wedding rehearsal night. Gail is 61. She is not invited to her

daughter’s Spa & Massage for a Day of Beauty with the wedding party. At the same time, Max her co-parent of Darlene, ends up staying with Gail for the weekend of the wedding. Max is a school teacher for at-risk teenagers on the Eastern shore. He lives in a one-room apartment above a garage. While visiting Gail, he brings a cat. There is plenty of activity to keep the story moving with the wedding and all. Gail also tells us why her marriage broke up and the details of her co-parent and her living together for the weekend.

This was a quick read and a story that was short and moved with plot. I liked the story very much. I rate it with a 4 out of a scale from one to five.
